Meet Dr. Cunningham

Cary J. Cunningham, DDS
Diplomate American Board of Endodontics

Dr. Cunningham graduated from the University of Colorado with a BA in Environmental Biology in 1976 and received his D.D.S. degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 1981.  In 1982, he completed a one year General Practice Residency at Chanute Air Force Base, IL.  In 1992, he received a Certificate in Endodontics from Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland Air Force Base, TX and was board certified in May of 1995.

He has clinical research experience and has authored numerous scientific articles.  He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and is an active member of the American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association, Southern Oregon Dental Society, the American Association of Endodontists, American Board of Endodontics, College of Diplomates of the American Board of Endodontics, Foundation of the AAE, and is a Fellow in the International College of Dentists.  His military honors include the Air Force Meritorious Service Medal with two oak leaf clusters, Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal, Air Force Humanitarian Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with two oak leaf clusters. 

Dr. Cunningham is originally from Colorado, married to the former Susan Lynn Johnson and currently resides in Central Point, Oregon.  They have two children, Matthew and Jenna. He has been in private practice with Southern Oregon Endodontics from September 2002 to present.
